WIC - ArtilleryThis is a featured page

Artillery units have the longest range in World in Conflict. As much as their range goes, they also fire the most powerful rounds but Artillery does have a weakness...it can do anything about units that come too close so Artillery units are best kept at the rear edges of the map. Artillery is very vulnerable to units very close and helicopters.

Heavy Artillery is the most Hard hitting unit in the game and has the longest range. It also is the only unit that fires differently for each faction. USA and NATO Heavy Artillery fire rockets while USSR fire shells. Heavy Artillery is great for leveling buildings, clearing command points or hitting all sorts of ground units. Heavy Artillery also has the ability to provide large, thick smoke screens so you can protect your teams units from enemy fire. Heavy Artillery is also the Most Expensive unit in the game.Medium Artillery is less powerful and less ranged than its bigger brother but has the ability to burn forrests, is cheaper and is effective against light vehicles and obliterates infantry in forrests or on land. Also medium Artillery can fire at units closer than the Heavy Artillery so you can put it closer to the battle...however with its less range you have to put it closer anyway.
